History
COLLETTE VACATIONS has been a leader in the
travel industry since 1918, when Jack Collette advertised motorcoach tours that whisked vacationers from
dreary New England winters to Florida.
Since 1962 the company has been owned by the
Sullivan family, headed first by Dan J. Sullivan, Sr., now
by Dan, Jr., and his mother, Alice I. Sullivan. The Sullivan
family and the entire company remain committed to Dan
Sr.’s vision of always presenting unique aspects of a
destination—including its history, culture and entertainment—served up with excellent accommodations and
good value.
